Five-step pipeline for cell type annotation and distinguishing single cells from doublets in single-cell transcriptome analysis of endocrine pancreatic cells

Description
The pipeline first separates sequenced cells into different cell types based on key marker gene expressions, then through several processing steps creates more refined gene signatures for alpha, beta, delta, PP, ductal, and acinar cells. Pure, single cells are identified as ones that show strong correlation to only one of the signatures. The analysis addresses the potential issue of doublets with any combination of cell types, not just between alpha and beta cells.
