Description
RNA profiles of five total samples of human primary islets from two different donors: two infected with SARS-CoV-2, two mock-infected, and one infected with SARS-CoV-2 and also treated with the small molecule trans-ISRIB. It was observed that SARS-CoV-2 infection promoted transdifferentiation of beta cells, and the small molecule trans-ISRIB counteracted this phenomenon.
