From Jackson Labs: This compound mutant strain combines the immunodeficiency features of the Prkdcscid mutation and widespread fluorescent cell labeling capabilities of CAG-EGFP on the NOD genetic background. These mice are effective recipients of allogeneic and xenogenic grafts, and are an excellent source of fluorescent-labeled cells for transfer experiments.
