Description
Hyperglycemic animal model on an immunodeficient background. Produced by backcrossing the RIP-DTR transgene from a B6;CBA-RIP-DTR stock onto NSG background using a speed congenic method. Used to generate the NSG-DTR strain, in which the RIP-DTR transgene is fixed to homozygosity with additional backcrossing onto NSG.
